Handling BAD CSR DATA and INFO NEEDED statuses in Certificate Management

INFO NEEDED
In certain circumstances, it is necessary to provide additional documentation to SecureTrust before a certificate is issued through Certificate Management. This usually involves providing proof for the following:

  • Domain Ownership

  • Proof of Organization

  • An email will be sent to you from SecureTrust (first customer email address) that will explain what needs to be done to provide this information. Once the information is provided, the certificate will be issued and installed automatically through Certificate Management. If you are notified in Certificate Management that more documentation is required for an certificate order, and you do not receive the email, please contact support.

    BAD CSR DATA
Part of the information provided to create the CSR was not specified correctly. For example, the wrong STATE was chosen for the CITY specified. It is necessary to delete the CSR request, and resubmit it.
